My name is Antonio B. Nelson aka “Silver Tongue The Poet” I am a recognized by many people of the Upstate and the Charlotte area.
I am a poet, author, writer and lyricist. My work has been featured at local events and on the web. I was first published in Treasures of the Imagination with a piece entitled, “Why You Made It Through”. I currently am the author of the best selling poetry book “Whispers Of The Mind,” which can be found at your local Barnes and Noble or online at Amazon.com . I have also completed a poetry set to music CD entitled
“Echo Of A Tear Drop” which can be listened to or purchased online at iTunes, CD-Baby, and many other Retailers on the web.

I have participated in many of Spartanburg cities and surrounding areas public venues, such as, “Poetry in The Park,” “TK Greg Recreational Center,” the popular radio show on Power 98, “Morning Mad House,” for their spoken word feature. 103.3 Awake with Drake, A featured poet at the “Upstate of South Carolina’s Black Authors Expo,” as well as, Upstate “Listen 2 Me Think” poetry venue that takes place at The Brasserie Restaurant. A Slam poet at “The Hub City Showroom”, at “Coffee Underground” in Greenville, and have participated in many different charity events for churches and schools.
